Turo and Tesla announced on October 26, 2026 that the US rental marketplace will introduce verified FSD (Supervised) listings beginning October 28.
Through a direct Tesla API integration, eligible hosts can connect their Tesla accounts so Turo can verify whether a listed vehicle has FSD (Supervised) available. Guests will be able to identify cars offering the feature rather than relying solely on a host's description.
A way to try supervised FSD
This is not an autonomous taxi service. FSD (Supervised) requires an attentive human driver who remains responsible for operating the vehicle.
Eligible US hosts may also qualify for a one-month FSD (Supervised) trial as part of the initiative, subject to the program's terms.
Availability and limitations
The announced launch is US-only. No Canadian availability was announced. As of the October 26 announcement, the October 28 feature launch is still upcoming, not yet a completed rollout.
Why it matters
The integration may give prospective Tesla buyers and renters a clearer way to try the feature before committing to a vehicle or subscription. It also provides a limited promotional benefit for qualifying Tesla owners who rent their cars on Turo.
