Tesla's Canadian Heroes program currently offers $1,000 CAD off a new Tesla for eligible buyers who verify through ID.me.
Tesla's live Canadian page now lists a broader group than some older guides.
Who is currently listed as eligible?
Tesla currently names:
- Canadian military members, including veterans, retirees, active-duty personnel and qualifying dependents;
- first responders;
- doctors and nurses;
- students;
- teachers.
Eligibility is verified through ID.me.
Verify before ordering
Tesla says ID.me verification is required before placing the order. Once verified, the adjustment should appear in the vehicle purchase price before the order is submitted.
The offer cannot be applied retroactively.
Can it stack with a referral?
Yes. Tesla's current Canadian Heroes terms explicitly say the offer is stackable with Refer and Earn and Tesla's current finance offers.
That makes the order sequence important: verify the Heroes eligibility first, start the Tesla order from the referral link, and confirm the expected adjustments before paying.
One important correction to older guides
Some earlier 2026 write-ups said Canadian military members were excluded. Tesla's current Canadian Heroes page now explicitly includes Canadian military members and qualifying dependents, so the live Tesla page should take precedence.
