Tesla buyers often see several programs at the same time: Refer and Earn, loyalty benefits, special purchase programs, financing offers and government EV incentives.
The key is that these are separate programs with different eligibility rules.
Referral vs. loyalty
Buyer benefits are for customers purchasing their first qualifying Tesla product through a valid referral link. Loyalty benefits are for customers who currently or previously owned a qualifying Tesla product and are buying another one with the same Tesla account.
Because those two benefits target different customer groups, buyers generally fall into one path or the other.
Heroes programs and referrals
Tesla's current Canadian Heroes page explicitly says the Canadian Heroes purchase benefit is stackable with Tesla's current finance offers and Refer and Earn.
Program eligibility and amounts can change, so verify the live Tesla page before ordering.
Government incentives
Federal and provincial/state incentives are administered separately from Tesla's own referral system. Eligibility is determined by the government program's own price caps, vehicle rules, registration address and funding availability.
Order sequence matters
If you are using a referral link, open it before placing the order. Tesla does not add referral links retroactively.
For any stack, the final check should happen on Tesla's order page: if the expected benefit is not visible, resolve it before submitting payment.
