Tesla Targets Customer Cybercab Deliveries and Dallas Rides in 2026

Tesla executives outlined two upcoming Cybercab milestones during the company's Q3 2026 earnings call: initial deliveries to customers by the end of 2026 and a targeted Dallas Robotaxi expansion in November.

Customer ownership is a target

Tesla VP of Vehicle Engineering Lars Moravy said the company is trying to deliver Cybercabs to customers before year-end. Initial production vehicles are currently being directed primarily to Tesla's own fleet, and management described a gradual ramp.

Dallas is planned, not yet launched

Reports of the earnings call also describe a plan to offer Cybercab rides in Dallas in November. A target date is not confirmation that commercial rides have begun.

Cybercab's unconventional design, including the absence of conventional driver controls, remains subject to federal certification scrutiny. Readers should distinguish production, testing, fleet deployment and public passenger access.

What to watch next

Key confirmations would include customer delivery announcements, the Dallas service opening, published operating conditions and any further NHTSA action.
